Bulk editor
Select one or more listings in My Listings and a toolbar appears with the number selected and the actions you can take. It only shows the buttons that make sense for what you picked, so the set changes as your selection does. This guide walks through each one.
Most actions are queued and run in the background, one listing at a time, with progress shown in the panel’s job queue. You can keep working or close the panel while they run. A listing that is waiting on a job shows a Queued badge in the grid and can’t be selected again until the job reaches it.
The toolbar at a glance
These are always there: Edit, Refresh, Duplicate, Link (or Unlink), Cloud, Export, Delete and Deselect, which clears the selection. The rest depend on what you’ve selected:
- Discount - at least one active Depop listing.
- Crosslist - every listing is active and on the same marketplace.
- Relist - at least one sold listing that was saved to the cloud.
- Post - every listing is a draft.
- Hide or Unhide - every listing is an active or hidden Vinted listing.
Plans. Save to Cloud and Update Cloud are part of the Pro and Business plans and show a padlock on lower plans. Relist and Link work on cloud-saved listings, so in practice they need Pro or Business too. Crosslist uses your monthly crosslist allowance (see pricing). The other actions aren’t tied to a plan.
Edit
Edit opens an editor with one card per listing, so you can change each one by hand, or make the same change to many at once with Bulk Edit.
- Select the listings and click Edit. Sold listings, listings Vinted is still reviewing and reserved Vinted listings can’t be edited. They are left out, with a note at the top of the editor saying why.
- Change any field on any card. Depending on the marketplace, a card has:
- Title (Vinted only; on Depop the first line of the description is the title).
- Description, Category, Brand, Price, Condition and Colour (up to two).
- Size, loaded from the sizes that listing’s category allows.
- Quantity (Depop) or Parcel size (Vinted).
- A status chip (see Status below).
- The photo strip (see Photos below).
- Click Save Changes. The edits are queued and sent to Depop and Vinted in the background.
On Depop the brand has to be one Depop recognises. If it isn’t, the editor says so: pick one from the list, or leave it empty for no brand.
The bar at the top of the editor also has a select-all checkbox, Remove (takes the ticked cards out of this edit without touching the listings), Split photos (see below), Bulk Edit, and a button that shows two cards per row. Click anywhere on a card to tick it.
Bulk Edit
- In the editor, click Bulk Edit. A panel opens on the right.
- Pick a Field: Price, Title, Description, Brand, Condition, Colour, Size, Quantity, Category, Parcel size, Status or Image.
- Enter or choose the new value.
- Click Apply to change only the cards you’ve ticked, or All to change every card in the editor.
- Check the cards, then click Save Changes.
Bulk changes only land where they make sense. Title and Parcel size skip Depop cards, Quantity skips Vinted cards, and a category only applies to cards from its own marketplace (the list offers both Depop and Vinted categories). Changing the category clears the size, because sizes depend on the category. If nothing in the editor can take the value, the panel says No eligible items for this field.
Price has a mode next to the value: Set to, Increase by, Decrease by, Increase by % or Decrease by %. Each mode works from the price the card is currently showing, so applying it twice stacks. A card whose price would fall to zero or below is left alone.
From version 1.1.12, the Price field can raise or lower prices by an amount or a percentage. In version 1.1.11 it can only set a new price.
Status
The status chip on each card offers the moves that listing can make:
- Vinted - switch between Active and Hidden, or Publish a draft.
- Depop - an active listing can be set to Sold. Depop has no hide, so this sets the stock to zero, which Depop treats as sold. Depop locks sold listings, so this can’t be undone; relisting is the only way back.
In Bulk Edit, use the Status field for Vinted listings. It offers Active, Hidden and Publish (for Vinted drafts), and each card only takes a move it can make. To publish Depop drafts, use Post.
Photos
Each card has a photo strip. The first photo is marked Cover.
- The Add tile uploads a new photo, and the × on a photo removes it.
- Drag photos to reorder them.
- The pencil on a photo opens Edit Photo, with Rotation, Scale and Brightness sliders, Rotate 90°, Flip, Crop, Randomise (a slight random tweak) and Reset. Click Save Photo when the after-preview looks right.
To adjust many photos at once:
- In Bulk Edit, pick Image and click Configure….
- Bulk Edit Photos shows every photo from the cards you ticked (or from all cards if none are ticked). Click a photo to leave it out.
- Set the sliders, Rotate 90° or Flip, then click the Apply to button, which shows how many photos it will change. Or click Randomise to give every chosen photo its own slight random tweak.
- Click Save Changes in the editor to upload the edited photos.
Split photos (Depop)
Split photos turns each photo of a Depop listing into its own draft, for a bundle you want to sell piece by piece.
- In the editor, tick one or more Depop listings with at least two photos.
- Click Split photos. The confirmation says how many drafts it will create.
- Click Create drafts.
Price, brand, condition and shipping are copied to every draft. Only the first line of the description carries over, so you can write each one. The original listing isn’t deleted.
Discount (Depop)
Discount puts active Depop listings on sale with Depop’s own discount, so buyers see the original price struck through. Buyers who liked or saved the item are told about the drop. Vinted has no per-item discount, so Vinted listings in the selection are left out.
- Click Discount.
- Set the percentage with the slider (5 to 95% in steps of 5) or type any whole number from 1 to 95.
- Check the list. Each listing shows its new price, and any listing that is already at that discount, or whose sale price would fall below Depop’s 1.00 minimum, is marked as skipped.
- Click Apply discount.
To end a sale, select the listings, click Discount, then Remove discount.
Refresh
Refresh re-reads the selected listings from Depop and Vinted, so the grid shows their current status and details. Use it after editing a listing on the marketplace itself, or to check whether a listing is still up. It doesn’t bump anything up the search feed; for that, use the Refresh tab.
Crosslist
Crosslist sends the selection straight to the crosslist queue, the same queue the Crosslist tab uses, and creates a copy of each listing on the other marketplace.
- Select active listings from one marketplace only. (Drafts, sold listings and mixed selections don’t get the button.)
- Click Crosslist. You’ll need a Depop tab and a Vinted tab open, and both accounts linked to SaleLinx.
There is no review step from here. If you want to check or edit the copies before they’re sent, start from the Crosslist tab instead. If the selection is bigger than what’s left of your monthly allowance, only that many are queued and the panel tells you.
From version 1.1.12 every copy is saved as a draft. In version 1.1.11 the Crosslist tab’s Auto-post switch decided whether copies were published straight away.
Duplicate
Duplicate creates a draft copy of each listing on the same marketplace. The originals aren’t touched.
- Click Duplicate.
- If every selected row is a linked pair, choose Depop only, Vinted only or Both.
- If the selection includes sold Vinted listings that weren’t saved to the cloud, SaleLinx warns that only a partial draft can be made for them and you may need to fill in some details. Click Continue to go ahead.
The drafts appear in the grid with the Draft status. Use Post to publish them.
Post drafts
Post appears when every selected listing is a draft, on either marketplace.
- Click Post. The Post drafts window opens.
- Choose Post all now, or Schedule posts and pick an interval between posts (1, 5, 10 or 30 minutes, or type your own).
- Click Start.
Scheduled posts keep running even if you close the panel.
Hide and Unhide (Vinted)
Hide takes active Vinted listings out of view without deleting them. When every selected listing is already hidden, the button reads Unhide and puts them back. The button only appears when the whole selection is active or hidden Vinted listings.
Click it and a progress window works through the listings one by one, then reports how many succeeded.
Cloud
Cloud opens a small menu:
- Save to Cloud - backs up the details and photos of the selected listings to your SaleLinx account. Only active listings can be saved; others are skipped and the panel tells you how many.
- Update Cloud - re-sends the latest details and photos of listings that are already saved. Use it after editing a listing on the marketplace.
- Remove from Cloud - deletes the saved details and photo backups for the selected listings, after you confirm. The listings themselves stay up.
Update Cloud and Remove from Cloud only appear when at least one selected listing is saved. Rows lock with a spinner on their cloud switch while they save. See Cloud sync.
Link and Unlink
Link pairs a Depop listing with its Vinted twin so SaleLinx knows they’re the same item. That is what the Restocker works from. A linked pair then shows as one row with both logos.
- Select exactly two listings: one from Depop and one from Vinted.
- Make sure both are active or sold, and both are saved to the cloud (and have finished saving). Drafts can’t be linked from here.
- Click Link. If the two are set up in the Restocker with different restock counts, choose which count both should use.
To undo it, select the linked row; the button reads Unlink. If the pair is tracked by the Restocker, SaleLinx tells you both listings will stay tracked on their own.
To find matching pairs across your whole catalogue, use the Linking tab.
Export
Export downloads a CSV file of the selected listings in SaleLinx’s own format, the same format CSV import reads. To export everything, use the CSV button in the My Listings toolbar and choose Export All.
Delete
Delete removes listings from the marketplace for good. There is no undo.
- Click Delete.
- If any of the listings are saved to the cloud, the confirmation has a box to delete their cloud backups too. It starts unticked: leave it that way and the backups stay, so you can relist the items later.
- Click Delete to confirm.
If you’ve selected a whole linked pair, the confirmation shows a card for each side instead. Each side has its listing ticked and its Cloud backup unticked. Untick a listing to keep that side live, for example to delete only the Vinted copy and keep selling on Depop. Tick a Cloud backup to remove that backup too. Ticking only a backup removes the backup and leaves the listing up.
Relist sold items
Relist appears when the selection includes a sold listing that was saved to the cloud before it sold. It recreates the item from the cloud copy as a new listing on the same marketplace. To relist active listings instead, use the Relist tab.
- Click Relist and choose how:
- Quick relist reposts with the recommended settings.
- Relist with config lets you set photo, title, description and price changes first.
- If every selected row is a linked pair, choose Depop only, Vinted only or Both.
- Choose where the cloud save goes:
- Move to the new listing carries its link, restock settings and saved details over to the new listing. This is the usual choice.
- Keep on the sold item leaves that record where it is.
- For Quick relist, choose Relist to post to publish it now or Relist as draft to publish it yourself later. For Relist with config, set your changes in the Relist Confirmation window (it has its own save-as-draft option) and click Confirm Relist.
